Yesterday, Vanessa Bryant, the widow of NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and mother of their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, responded publicly for the first time to their tragic deaths in the wake of a helicopter crash last Sunday in Calabasas, California, via Instagram. In the post, she thanked "the millions of people who shown love and support during this difficult time." Seven other people also perished in the crash, and she also acknowledged the other families and announced a fund to aid them: "To honor our Team Mamba Family, the Mamba Sports Foundation has set up the MambaOnThree Fund to support the other families affected by this tragedy."
