The Best Man is an iconic franchise. It explore Black love, friendship and relationships in a way many in our community can relate to. This time around director Malcolm D. Lee brings the story to a conclusion as an eight-part limited series on Peacock, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, in which we see Lance, Robyn, Candace and more dealing with mid-life issues and how they're dealing with their own metamorphosis.

The cast—Terrence Howard, Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, Harrold Perrineau, Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall—sat down with EBONY correspondent Yonathan Elias and discussed the complexity of Black love and the epic ending to the beloved franchise.

"One thing that shows through all of the movies is no matter how challenging the relationships and friendships have been, there is a love and respect that has gotten us through to this point," said Chestnut.
