All is well in Wendy-ville!

UPDATE 11/1/2017:

Not long yesterday’s fainting scare, Williams took to the stage to finish her show, with her team releasing a statement via her social media:

“Wendy is feeling much better. She overheated because of her heavy costume, makeup and lights. She was able to finish the show in true Wendy spirit. Thank you for your well wishes.”

The talk show host went on to further reassure fans of her stabilized health condition, releasing a statement of her own from home, surrounded by hydration aids Pedialyte and Gatorode:

Glad to hear that all is well in Wendy-ville!

Original Story 10/31/2017:

Wendy Williams fainted while filming her popular talk show Tuesday morning, shocking both her live and studio audience when she lost her balance live on air.

During the Halloween episode, the 53-year-old diva opened as usual in a statue of liberty costume when her speech slowed down as she stumbled backwards and fell to the ground.

After a commercial break, she told the audience: “That was not a stunt. I overheated in my costume. I passed out. I’m a champ and I’m back,” she continued, according to a video posted by a viewer.
