Wendy Williams has pushed back her return to her eponymous daytime talk show for a second time, according to Variety. The talk show host was scheduled to appear starting on Jan. 14 but will be back on Jan. 21.

New episodes of The Wendy Williams Show will still begin on its original date with a panel of “Hot Talkers” as guest hosts.

As previously reported, Williams is recovering from a shoulder injury she obtained last month. Reruns of the show have been airing since Christmas Eve.

Co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein of the television company Debmar-Mercury, which distributes and produces the five-time Emmy-nominated show, addressed the postponement.

“As she has for the past 10 years, Wendy delivers an incomparable live talk show day in and day out and we want to give her the best opportunity to heal and recover,” according to the statement. “Wendy has our complete and unwavering support and we look forward to her return to the iconic purple chair.”

The Wendy Williams Show is in its 10th season.
