Young Thug's Codefendant Released From YSL RICO Case Due to Mental Illness

Almost a year since he was imprisoned, rapper Young Thug's codefendant has been dropped from the YSL RICO case due to a recent diagnosis. The codefendant, named Jayden Myrick, was found to be schizophrenic after a recent mental health evaluation. Furthermore, Myrick told the judge presiding over the case that he had not taken the proper medication for his condition in numerous months. He will now be tried separately and is already serving a life sentence for the murder of Christian Broder in October 2022.

While on a recent brand trip to Miami, TikTok influencer Bria Jones shared an emotional video on her account about being treated as a "second-tier person" throughout her experience. She detailed being excluded from events that other influencers were participating in and having a considerably small room compared to other guests. This video prompted a slew of reactions, tweets, and follow-up videos exposing the brand for alleged racism. In response, the CEO of Tarte Cosmetics, Maureen Kelly, released her own video sharing that she believes there was "miscommunication" and implying that there has never been such a problem on previous trips she has hosted.
