Capricorn (December 22nd to January 20th)
Dos Equis’ “Most Interesting Man in the World” might like to encourage us to “stay thirsty,” but this week I’m going to encourage you to “stay sober.” This doesn’t mean you have to become a teetotaler for a week. I’m talking about getting drunk off of expectations and your own iron determination to have things go down a certain way. As a child of steady Saturn, you’d think you would be above these things, that sobriety is already such an easy thing for you.  Then that’s when you should definitely ask if you’re sober with how you’re proceeding. (Capricorn Richard Nixon, for example, might have thought he was being sober about his expectations, even as he coasted to a second term and still had to resign for being a cheat.) Putting the proverbial cart before horse can happen to any of us. However, what becomes the cart and what’s the horse gets subtler at higher levels of mastery.
