Capricorn [Dec 22nd to Jan 20th]

#MeTime:  Pluto retrogrades this week while schlepping through your sign.  Contrary to what you may have heard, Pluto is still very much a planet for astrologers. Astronomers demoted him. Fittingly enough, Pluto helps us deal with the stuff we think we control, but don’t (like getting demoted). You’ll be reminded of this point this week (but not necessarily by demotion.) In fact, according to one of my favorite books, The Bhagavad Gita, it’s when we forget how much we control/don’t control that we acquire more “bad” karma. The trick, I imagine, is learning how to relinquish delusions of control without giving up responsibility or “response-ability” for what happens to us. No need to worry about whether the thing to happen is bad or good. Don’t get attached to your fear or euphoria. You can treat those two impostors just the same, having complete faith that you’re doing your best and your best is…remarkable.

#Heartstrings: Last week it was the moon that stepped in between the Mars-Neptune stare-off, but this week it’s Venus jumping in the middle.  For you, this means that your passion and playfulness could blur some of the clear boundaries that you usually have in your daily life, perhaps affecting even your performance at work.  Of course, you don’t want to get too tight with folks, but you do want to keep an eye on your sleep schedule and getting too carried away with good times with a significant other or just your social life in general. It’s not a big thing, but you don’t want any of this to become too much of a thing period.

#MoneyMoves:  The good news is that of the three powerful planets in Earth (Money) signs now, only one will be retrograde at the end of the week. So with Mars going forward this weekend and Jupiter keeping his push through sure and steady Taurus, you shouldn’t expect a lot of financial upheaval with Pluto going retrograde.  In fact, it might be that when we have to really focus, like a LASER, that’s when you can pierce through all the unimportant stuff (like the stuff you can’t control) to make the changes you can because you have to.
