Capricorn [Dec 22nd to Jan 20th]

#MeTime: Have you read Sun Tzu’s “Art of War?” It was all the rage in the late 80s and early 90s for corporate types who found the parallels between mergers and handing out pink slips with war and death too morbidly compelling and fascinating.  Unfortunately, they seem to have missed this key part of the book at the beginning, “Anyone who excels in defeating his enemies triumphs before his enemy’s threat become real.” Basically, nipping a problem in the bud (before the “bloodshed” and agony) is the real “art of war.” This week is your week to be proactive on both the home and work fronts before the “fit hits the shan.” Start with whether there’s something that’s unsettled for you emotionally. If not, keep an eye and ear open for whether there’s a similar feeling coming from someone close to you.

#Heartstrings: A famous #Capricorn, Sir Isaac Newton, once laid down his life story like this, “A body in motion stays in motion and a body at rest stays at rest, unless acted upon by an outside body or force.”  Okay, he wasn’t talking about his life story, but classical mechanics, but it still fits for describing your life circumstances right now.  Just to be clear: you’re the body in motion.  This means that you’re likely to take your love while on the go. That’s cool, if you got it like that. If not, you’re likely to have problems.  My recommendation is to keep the fun and games toward the weekend and commit to keeping it about “play” rather than sneaking ANY work (or being on the go) in.  You’ll make someone very happy. It’s much easier to love someone you can see rather than a blur.

#MoneyMoves:  Among the parables I cherish the most from when I was a Christian preacher are the ones that talk about working until nightfall and using lamps.  Maybe we share that workaholic trait, or we know when the going gets good that we have to get it in. That’s you right now, for sure.  The top of the week is most important for that than the bottom half.  I say that as bluntly as possible because Uranus and Mercury go retrograde AND then Saturn and the Sun give each other side-eye.  When that happens, let’s just say that it’s better to chill. The more you attempt to push, the more pushback you get.
