Scorpio [Oct 22nd to Nov 21st]

#MeTime: The stand-off between the Sun and Pluto this week inspires me to think of this quote by novelist Laurell K. Hamilton, “..stop trying to throw logic at nightmares. Sometimes the monsters are real…Sometimes they’re real and the only way to defeat them is to be the bigger monster.” Here’s where it gets tricky. It’s okay to be a bigger monster to your own internal nightmares and fear, but you gotta watch out for the moment when you could become someone else’s monster.  A true warrior is one who is fierce in battle, but gentle with those she seeks to protect. Be that warrior.

#Heartstrings: Last week, you probably were firing off warning shots to folks who were foolish enough to play games. This week you might seem a little like that scary myth of Scorpio that circulates every now and again.  You’re a force of nature this week, and I’m of the opinion that it’s best used in the bedroom or other sundry places if you’re with the willing and able.  But you got to go easy on the unwilling and the barely able, especially if we’re not talking about finding love grooves.  Breathe often as your patience may be running on “E,” for what may appear as no reason. There is one. You’re impatient with some of your own stalling, so you’re really not trying to manage that space with someone else.

#MoneyMoves: So as Saturn and Venus both straighten out their retrograde wigs this week, I see you start to get your head on straight too.  Wonderful!  So, if you drive, when you release the brake in traffic, you know that’s not the time to have a heavy foot on the gas. The same is true now.  You might want a lot of things to happen like yesterday, but it’s today and you have to be where you are now, not where you THINK you should be or would have been if…(insert whatever here.) You have to think about going the distance rather than going for the cheap, quick knockout now with work and other commitments.  It might be a long summer, but you’re likely to have more than enough energy and stamina to endure if you plod along rather zip.
