Gemini  [May 21st  to June 20th]

#MeTime:  Time efficiency expert David Allen, author of Getting Things Done, talks about how the build up of to-do lists adds a lot of psychic pressure, much like how a strong odor can be as strong as the presence of a person in a room. The best way to handle it is to get as much of your “to-do” lists out of your head, find a place (or time) for them and then take action steps.  This sounds like sane advice for you this week, Gemini. Procrastination is gonna prove a fickle friend in a week or so, particularly with things on the home front.  It’s okay to defer something until later if it’s best done at that time. But putting it off or away because you don’t want to deal with it is asking for things to go from funky to effed up fast.

#Heartstrings:  This week, you get to work on the fine art of the side hook-up—the mash-up of networking, diplomacy, and investigative reporting. Most of us know about the “six degrees of separation” between us, but a lot of people sleep on the elbow bending needed to uncover each of those six degrees.  Let me illustrate. I once went to look at a room in a large, renovated loft only to discover that it would cost too much for too little. So I got the deets for the loft’s landlord and ended up in my own loft for the next five years. I paid half what I would have been paying for a room. Do more of that with your peeps this week.

#MoneyMoves:  Times like these, I think about quotes like this, Gemini:  “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure,” from Marianne Williamson. Actually, with the Sun and Neptune feelin’ themselves in your career sign, Pisces, you may switch up from feeling uber-confident to feelin’ like you can’t accomplish diddly-squat. Keep doin’ you, and don’t get caught up in your feelings.  The one thing you can trust is your will to keep goin’ and your intelligence to know that you’re still on task.
