TV One caught up with members of the Living Single cast including Kim Coles (Synclaire), Kim Fields (Regine), John Henton (Overton) and TC Carson to talk the legacy of the iconic ’90s series and to address the speculation of a potential reboot.
“For me the thought of getting to work with my family again is wonderful,” Carson said. “The other side of me understands that what we did was important. If it’s not going to be something that’s going to advance what we did… if we can’t push it forward let’s leave it what it is.” While the idea of reviving the show was put on the table, Coles revealed that she was “neither contacted or contracted” about it.
Whether or not Living Single will be brought back to life, TV One will be celebrating the sitcom turning 25 with a mega-marathon beginning on Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. ET playing all 118 episodes.
