Since 2012, the Atlanta native has appeared on the hit series alongside her son, rapper Lil Scrappy. The mother of two quickly became recognized for her unfiltered approach to protecting her “kingdom” and her ability to keep up with the younger women on the cast despite being a grandmother.
Earlier this week, the network shared a nearly 18-minute compilation of some of Momma Dee’s most memorable moments throughout her eight seasons on the show. The clip highlights her past as a pimp, spats she’s had with Scrappy’s girlfriends and her attempts at becoming a singer/actor.
The compilation of Momma Dee is part of a campaign to promote Dear Mama, an annual tribute special VH1 hosts for moms. This year’s will air on May 6 at 10 p.m. EST.
