Stars Set for Night 3 of DNC

The Democratic National Convention has swung from turmoil to unity, from cheers to boos, from laughter to tears, and there will be a lot more Wednesday night.

Democratic National Convention as they work to lay out their message to the American people. Tonight’s speakers will include Rev. Jesse Jackson, Dr. Jill Biden, Vice President Joe Biden, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine, actress Angela Bassett, a musical performance from Lenny Kravitz and a Broadway all-star performance of  Burt Bacharach’s “What the Worlds Needs Now is Love.” The song was re-recorded last month as a benefit for victims of the mass shooting in Orlando.

Rounding out the evening will be President Barack Obama. In what is slated to be an hour-long address to his party, Obama will tout the many accomplishments of his presidency, including Obamacare, income-based repayment, and various executive orders to level the playing field for working families and students.

The President will also lay out a clear case for Hillary Clinton and the party as the general election closes in.
