Kevin Hunter, the soon-to-be ex-husband of Wendy Williams, is allegedly seeking financial assistance throughout their ongoing divorce proceedings.

According to TMZ, Hunter filed a response to the talk show host's divorce petition, and according to the court documents he requested not only spousal support but also child support for their 18-year-old son, Kevin Jr.

In addition, Hunter asked that his wife be responsible for their son's college expenses.

Williams filed for divorce early last month after speculation that her husband fathered an illegitimate child with his mistress. The couple has been married for 21 years.

Following the news of the court filing, Hunter lost his role as the media maven's manager. He also was removed as the executive producer of the syndicated talk show, The Wendy Williams Show.

Williams is currently looking for a new manager. She has reportedly cut all ties with her husband including moving into a New York City apartment.
