Update 2:

T.I’s attorney told Atlanta’s Channel 2 that his client was “wrongfully arrested” and that the guard was found sleeping on the job.

Authorities told TMZ that T.I. was eventually allowed into the gated community but returned to argue with the security guard thus leading to his arrest.

Fresh off his collaboration with Kanye West, T.I. got arrested for public drunkenness at his own gated community in Georgia, TMZ reports.

T.I. and a friend got into an argument with a security guard who wouldn’t let them enter the property after he forgot his key early Wednesday morning and tried to get into his house.

The argument intensified and officers from the Henry County Police Department arrived booking the “Whatever You Like” rapper for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

He was released without bail.
