#MeTime: It’s weird that in the “big moments” that people tend to focus on the most random and extraneous of things, like the journalist who decided to ask Trayvon Martin’s mother if he liked chicken as the story of his murder became national. Of course, the charge of racism here is well-levied, but the question is mostly outlandish.   And it’s mostly that kind of thing that you may have to deal with, both internally and externally.  Internally, you may have some trouble with summoning the motivation to move forward with some of the “success” you’ve had recently, so you do what any normal person does: play angry birds or get caught up with something delightfully distracting.  Externally, it’s people you asking you dumb questions. Stay rooted in your power and not your pout. Stay attuned to the details that need your attention, not the ones that don’t.

#Heartstrings: Let me just say this bluntly as there’s no way to make this look good: you don’t do petty well. I don’t know. I’m not trying to make life especially hard for you and perhaps petty doesn’t wear well on any sign, but on you, petty looks like a chinchilla swim suit. You may not see it that way because when you get caught up with pettiness with someone, you often think you’re fighting with conviction and standing by principle. In reality, you look like you’re wounded by ego and scrapping for BS. Don’t go for the okey doke this week. Let the ridiculous ride on and the righteous reach for the door rather than relish having to feel right over something nobody’s going to care about a month from now.

#MoneyMoves:  You may desperately need a change of scenery. Last week, we chatted about tunnel vision. This week, I’m talking about how we could vote you as the zodiac sign “most likely to start counting how many red cars you can spy with your little eye as you drive through a tunnel”…and other idiotic things to do with your mind when you’re bored.  Now that you’ve likely reached some kind of milestone or benchmark you’ve had for yourself since the beginning of the year, it’s time to get back in touch with your inspiration after all the perspiration you’ve had.  Get some rest, go on vacation, or even zoneout some. But don’t get bored.
