Lee Daniels has dreamed of creating a superhero film centered around a gay character for almost a decade.
The director revealed on Tuesday that his wish is coming true with the help of Super B***h, an Instagram-famous actor/comedian who portrays an acrobatic crime-fighter dressed in a silver metallic belly shirt and hot pink thigh-high boots.

“Ya’ll remember maybe 10, 12 years ago I said my dream was to make a gay superhero film?” Daniels said in a video with the actor. “Dreams do come true. And I found my superhero. America, world, get ready.”
Super B***h also shared the news and expressed his excitement about meeting the director and working on the potential movie.
“Dreams really do come true!! I had the pleasure of meeting the one and only @theoriginalbigdaddy,” he wrote. “You’re an amazing man filled with great ideas. I can wait to work with you!”
Daniels said the gay superhero movie won’t be his next film, but it is the “pipeline.”
