You look in the mirror and immediately start with the scrunching, stretching and pulling of your face. Should it really take a “#shaveface” to get an extremely close shave? The process of getting a close shave shouldn’t be so strenuous. As one of the leading innovators in men’s grooming, Gillette’s new Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall Technology just made the process a lot less stressful.
“Gillette invented the original pivot, and with FlexBall Technology, we’ve once again changed the shaving experience,” said Patrice Louvet, group president of Global Grooming and Shave Care. “The Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall Technology is truly shaving rebuilt to deliver the best a man can get.”
The handle adjusts and pivots to meet a man’s face, allowing the blade to navigate laterally and hug tightly to the contours of your jawline with tight precision and fewer missed hairs.
Hitting retail stores in June, Gillette’s new game–changing tool was revealed at New York’s Highline Ballroom, where attendees were treated to an intimate look at the inspiration, design and R&D behind FlexBall Technology. Resurrection star Omar Epps brought the pivoting action to life through a live shave demonstration. Compared to other razors, the Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall Technology is “much faster and easier to use,” said Epps. “The razor moves with the contours of your face and requires less strokes and time.”
It’s no secret that Black men are more inclined to razor bumps and ingrown hair. This issue, according to Epps, “is a combination of the razor [used] and skin care. The less abrasive the shaving process is, the smoother the skin will be, and the FlexBall razor does just that.”
Fellas, it’s 2014. It’s time to step your grooming game up!
